This policy explains what personal data FreshRaise ("we") collects when you use getfreshraise.com and subscribe to our newsletter, why we collect it, and your rights.
Only the email address you enter in our signup form. We do not ask for your name, phone number, or payment details on this site. We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
We use your email address solely to send you the FreshRaise newsletter (a weekly digest of freshly-funded startups). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the signup form. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your rights").
Newsletter signups and sends are handled by our email provider beehiiv, Inc. (United States), acting as our processor. Your email address is stored on beehiiv's infrastructure. Transfers outside the EEA rely on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) as provided in beehiiv's data processing terms. See beehiiv's privacy policy.
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, it is removed from active sending and deleted within a reasonable period.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data; object to or restrict processing; request portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can email hello@getfreshraise.com for any request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The companies featured in the newsletter are identified from public funding news and filings. We publish company-level signals and the role to contact — not databases of individuals' personal contact details.
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
